This week we are learning all about our emotions, how they can affect us each day and how they impact on our interactions with others. Your tasks this week during our literacy block is to explore all the wonderful words (vocabulary) that can help us describe how we are feeling so that others can understand us.

Each day this week we will be explore one of the colours that describe our feelings.
We will all brainstorm some fantastic words that we can use to describe each of the colours (these are called adjectives).
This will help us learn some new words to add to our vocabulary.
Next we will explore what each of the colours:

Task 3
It's time to draw your own monster so that it matches the colour we are exploring. For example, my yellow monster may look like this:
Everyone's monster will look different, as we all think, look and feel different. Be creative !!!
Before you colour your monster, we need to help it describe how it is feeling. Choose 4 to 10 adjectives to describe the colour of the emotion. You can use the bank of words we have all participated in creating. Label your monster around the outside with your chosen words. |
IMPORTANT: Before you start creating your monster, we need to think about what our Everyday Book should look like when we are completing a task. All work needs:
